Kitchens

This is one of my favourite kitchens. Constructed from best quality new pine it has been treated with caustic soda and finished with Danish oil.

The turned posts are an integral part of the frames. And as usual the doors are hung inside the frames on brass butt hinges. The drawers are solid timber with dovetailed sides. The interiors are constructed from birch ply, treated to match the exterior. But I also use hardwood veneered MDF for this purpose. I made the double draining board from American maple.
